First written in 1961, and celebrating its 40th year, this collection of six classic stories was created in poetic verse to begin with delight and end with wisdom. The book was recently and delightfully recreated by this local artist. Written without ethnic or gender barriers, the book provides footsteps to the reader allowing anyone to become Olly-O. These ageless and entertaining short stories challenge the children and adults alike who join Olly-O in a variety of outdoor adventures. The Whimsical Verse of Olly-O is the recipient of Dr. Toy's Best Children's Product Award. An ABC World News interview proclaimed, "Sometimes you just can't beat a classic" and PBS TV regards Olly-O as "A grown-ups book for kids" while Newsday refers to it as "Noteworthy."
